[SOLVED] Inventory in einer Remote Site

Ich habe den Beitrag schon einmal in niinv31 gepostet, aber die liest
anscheinend keiner.
Also hier noch einmal der Beitrag:

Hallo zusammen,

bei der Evaluierung des Smartclients ist mir folgendes aufgefallen.

Über eine RAS Verbindung (ISDN) versucht der NI Service Netinventory 3.1 zu
installieren.
Er führt zunächst einen Version Check von 3 dll's durch, was aber lt.
Logfile 5 Minuten bei voller Auslastung der Bandbreite dauert.

Kann man diesen Check irgendwie verhindern?

Wie händelt ihr das mit der Inventarisierung in Remote Sites?

Hello Michael,

die drei Files die da geprüft werden stellen sicher, das Client und Management
Point bzw. OrgMaster Binärkompatibel sind. Ist eine dieser Dateien ungleich,
so wird die Meldung "Die Kerneldateien auf dem Master Management Point sind
unterschiedlich zu den lokalen, bitte aktualisieren Sie..." ausgegeben und
es findet keine Inventarisierung mehr statt. Ergo können Sie das nicht abschalten.
Was Sie allerdings tun können, ist einmal zu prüfen warum ein Versionscheck
5! Minuten dauert (z.B. mal mit Wireshark ehem. Etherreal die pakete mal
mitsniffen).
