After installing NETInstall 5.5 - the installation guide specifies that Nilogin.cmd (to add the path \\servername\sharefolder) need to be edited and run on the client side to install client components.

When doing this I get the following message:

"error when determining the current location
This client has no assigned site. (NICFGPRV.00CB)"

Any idee or suggestions?
many thanks
Francois

Did you go to the properties of your site object and set the site definitions with the correct addresses?

That error is not from the nilogin.cmd script.
That kicks off a installation. The problem is the computer your trying to install from can't associate to a NetInstall server. In your NI sites you need to make sure that the computer has a matching site it can associate to.

This is usually done by IP but thats not a rule.

check your install logs find them here:
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp

to make that work start->run and past that line.

There is a lot there, you might find it easier to work with to delete all temp data there then run nilogin.cmd again and see what happens.

Enjoy,
Ryan
