When performing a fast install either the netinstall agent or the netinstall service must be running on the target machine. Whether or not you click the 'execute via service' box on the fast install window dictates which one needs to be running (agent or service).

Thx for the reply.
In this case, the netinstall service is running on the target machine.

Thanks. That was the information I was looking for. There was an issue with service related fast install at the time of release for 5.7SP1 and a patch is available. Be aware this issue and patch are for 5.7SP1, this issue does not effect any other version of NetInstall.

If you are having this same problem please contact support through email (support@netinstall.com) and we will issue the patch to you. Also, please provide your complete information i.e. name, contact info, company, etc.
